Description
Fortitude is partnering with a federal agency on a multi-year data and reporting transformation. We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the delivery of insights, dashboards, and data products that support strategic decision-making at executive level.
About the role:
You’ll work closely with policy teams, IT, and senior leadership to translate business questions into data products. This is a hands-on role with significant influence — you’ll own deliverables end-to-end and have a direct line to the people who use them.
What you’ll do:
• Design and build Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports against complex enterprise data sources
• Partner with policy and operations teams to understand reporting requirements and shape data strategy
• Lead requirements workshops and translate stakeholder needs into clear technical deliverables
• Mentor junior analysts and review their work
• Contribute to data governance, quality, and documentation standards
What we’re looking for:
• Five+ years’ experience in BI, data analysis, or analytics roles
• Strong Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
• Experience working with government or large enterprise clients
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain or hold a Baseline security clearance • Excellent written and verbal communication
